The city through a Google Pixel 10 Pro: a low sun over the water, pink evenings, blue hour over the Old Town and Södermalm lit up after dark. A handful here; all 12 photographs are in the gallery.

About

SUMUS

“Sumus” is Latin for “we are”. The wordmark reads the same from both sides of its axis — a reminder that most of what is interesting lives in the symmetry.

SUMUS is the Stockholm-based visual practice of Tony, a recreational mathematician and geometric artist. Most pieces start with a compass, a ruler and a sheet of square or isometric grid paper, and are finished in coloured pencil.

The work moves between mandalas built from overlapping circles, impossible figures that only exist on paper, number arrangements with hidden structure, and photographs of patterns that show up uninvited in the city.

The Sumus Lab terminal after the level command: the ten labs numbered 1 to 10 — NeoLab, Construct, Shellcraft, Netcraft, Wavecraft, Paircraft, Driftcraft, Tlscraft, Wincraft and Webcraft — each with its category, flag count in colour, fictional network and a short description, with an arrow marking NeoLab as the current lab.

SUMUS LAB

A hacker terminal in your browser: ten simulated labs where you find the weakness, then learn how the hole gets closed.

Sumus Lab is a security and operations training game played at a Kali-style root prompt. Each track is its own fictional network with flags to capture or controls to fix — puzzle networks, shell scripting, firewalls, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth hardening, day-to-day Linux upkeep, TLS, Active Directory and a web shop.

nmap, curl, ufw, sslscan and a PowerShell answer the way the real tools would, but they are small models running in the page, so not a single packet leaves it. Flags are checked on the server, and a finished lab can go on the hall of fame under an alias, with no account and no email.

Ambigram Magic Square

Turn it, mirror it, still 176

A 4×4 magic square in clock-radio digits that stays magic upside down and in a mirror. Turn it 180° or mirror it in the browser and watch the numbers change while every row, column and diagonal keeps adding up to 176.

Sumus Lab

Hacker-terminal CTF in the browser

A browser-based capture-the-flag with ten labs: two puzzle networks, then scripting, firewalls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, operations, TLS, Active Directory and a web shop, several of them attack and defense in the same lab. Work in a simulated terminal and learn how each hole gets closed, without a single real packet leaving the page.
